this week we have fashion as task – Copenhagen Fashion Week is back
but since I’m still in incubation period with my own startup business I have decided only to go to the most important shows.
One of them was Influence by Vision
An upcoming star is rising and I would like to follow her from the very beginning. It is the Danish design talent Sofie Vestergaard, who for the past year has been working day and night in order to create her own business with her own brand Influence By Vision. I was eager to see the first collection and her first show in the house called Ithaca in Hellerup. And what a lovely place to launch the first collection.
It was beginners tensions and excitement that flow around in the air, and it is a natural part of launching something new. Especially in a market with overwhelming many good designers. But I am sure Influence by Vision will become one of the big players on the market due to designer Sofie’s pragmatic way of working, selecting materials and realizing her design vision. By revealing the hard work, the many hours of help from volunteers and by telling that all the models are premiers on the catwalk before the show started- we, the audience, could feel the serious will from Sofie to start slowly before conquering the fashion market all over the world. Get ready for perfect fitting, silk, and simple use of accessories from Influence by Vision – please enjoy and please forgive me for posting so many pictures, but it was really difficult to cut down.
